Devgad is a small town situated in the Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra . Devgad has total 98 villages in town. Devgad is located on the coast line of Arabian sea in Kokan region. This is the small town but widely known for mesmering, smelly and juicy locally grown Alphonso Mangoes also called Devgad Hapus Aamba/Mango . This mangos export world wide. 50000 tons Alphonso mangoes grown in Devgad every year.

Devagad has 2417 of population which 2190 males and 1127 are females according to year 2011. Whether in Devgad is not so cold as well as not so hot it changes in season, it depended on which season you visit. Winter is perfect season for holidays in Devagad . The air is cool and atmosphere is very nice. Kunkeshwar Shiva Temple :
